Michelle Pereira (pronounced Purr-Era) is a talented vocalist and songwriter from Toronto, Ontario, known for her work in Nashville. After earning a degree in Vocal Jazz and a Music Business certificate, she moved to Nashville in 2015 to study audio engineering with legends like John McBride and the late Mark Rubel. Michelle has written at prestigious publishing offices like Warner Music and Universal Music, and her achievements include a feature on the Grand Ole Opry 650AM WSM Radio station, selection for the ASCAP GPS 2019 program, and winning the Bluebird Cafe Golden Pick contest in 2021.

"First time I met this young lady she was standing outside The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville with her guitar talking to Holly and I. She was sweet, timid, and so nice. What she didn't mention was that she was on the lineup to play for us that night and let me tell you, She Rocked The House!! I was so amazed that this voice and soul could come out of someone who appeared a bit bashful and innocent. ["If He's Worthy"]...is one of the song she played that night and I'll never forget my goosebumps just watching her. I was in the right place at the right time. I love her, her personality, her music! She's a Toronto native, (our neighbor to the North) who is following her dream in Music City! Take time to listen to some of her stuff and if you ever get the chance, see her play!
